Craniosacral Therapy

What is CranioSacral Therapy?

It is a gentle hands-on therapy that works with the body's own self-healing Cranio Sacral Therapyprocess. It assists the body's natural capacity to restore health and vitality by supporting the cerebrospinal system.

Every cell in a healthy body expresses a rhythmic movement which is fundamental for life. This is craniosacral motion. Restrictions in the body's function are shown by the way in which the craniosacral motion is expressed. The therapist is trained to feel this subtle motion and so identify the possible origin of a problem and encourage the body to make the adjustments it needs to restore health, vitality and well being. As restrictions are eased the underlying causes of many conditions can be released allowing an improvement in symptoms.

Craniosacral therapy is suitable for all ages from babies to the elderly. It can be used during pregnancy, after an operation, fall or injury and in fragile or acutely painful conditions as treatment is very gentle and non-invasive. You do not need to be ill to benefit. It can help to relieve stress, resist minor infections, increase energy and vitality.
